Your garden is beautiful Charlie! Your own little piece of heaven on earth!
Yes it is! And just one of the reasons I love it here!
I love the many shades of green in my garden. It soothes me. And I’ve added a few chicks to raise the spice level! They’re now about a week old, raising them in the house to be sweet – I’m mama. They are so entertaining, and my dog herds them a little. BTW, I went to Arenal Observatory Lodge & had Nestor guide me: two trogon species and a flock of 6 aracaris! It’s a great place, but when I return I’ll get #29. First floor had overhead noise.
Deborah, I’m so glad you enjoy your gardens like I do and that you got to have Nestor as a guide at Arenal Observatory! He is good and I’ve used him twice for both on-campus and off-campus. The Observatory is still one of my favorite places and Room #29 too! 🙂
Impossible to name all the shade of green…just in your garden. Lovely.
Mary, so true! And different forests and different times of the year give even more shades of green! Since I’m reading The Lord of the Rings books now, I must add a Tolkien quote 🙂 :
“For still there are so many things that I have never seen: in every wood in every spring there is a different green.” – J. R. R. Tolkien
