This Tailed Sulphur, Phoebis neocypris (link to butterfliesandmoths.org) is patterned very similar to the Cloudless Sulphur and thus my ID for either could be the opposite! 🙂 These three images made in my garden recently.

Charlie, these are great. Have you been able to photograph any hummingbirds getting juice from these flowers?
¡Si señora! But not recently for blogs. The presence of hummingbirds has decreased greatly at my house, just a couple of Rufous-tailed is all I have this year. You can peruse my Costa Rica Birds Galleries and you will find that about half the hummingbirds in my photos are on flowers and more on these “Porter weeds” than any other flower. 🙂
