Nauyaca Waterfalls

Wow! Nothing like it anywhere! The featured photo above is the Upper Nauyaca Falls and the one below is the Lower Nauyaca Falls & Swim Hole with my new friends from Portugal in the water before the crowds arrived.

Below is a brief slide show of people in the swim hole and the truck ride up the mountain dirt road to the falls which is alone is quite an experience while others road horses or walked uphill for an hour and a half. Truck for me! 🙂

Whale’s Tail

Use your imagination. This bit of beach on the South Pacific Coast
near Uvita is famously called “The Whale’s Tail.” Sorta looks like it!
And this is the area where you can go Whale Watching in August/September.

And other people have better photos than this one I made from our little plane to Drake Bay.

Bird Photos Identified

I didn’t get as many bird photos on this trip, but then it wasn’t the purpose except for two days. Of many bird shots, I have five that are decent and have finally got each bird properly identified. The Volcano Junco is the first posting:
